FEATURES

1. A Windows application that can simulate a BACnet MS/TP Master Device on any   fast-enough PC/Laptop connected to a MS/TP network through a RS-485 link.
2. Can act as a BACnet device server by way of providing user configurable Analog Input, Binary Input, Analog Output and Binary Output objects. These objects can be automatically discovered and read by any peer MS/TP Master Device directly or by a BACnet/IP Client through a BACnet Router.
3. Can act as a BACnet client by way of accessing objects in other MS/TP master/slave devices on the same link or any remote BACnet device through an appropriate BACnet Router.
4. Provides live MS/TP protocol frame capturing feature through the Wireshark software running in parallel.

PREREQUISITES

• A fast-enough WIndows PC with either a RS232-to-RS-485  converter(if the PC has an built-in COM serial port) or a USB-to-RS485 adapter.
• The PC should have a Network Adapter.
• The PC should have the latest Wireshark software installed. Also, please make sure WinPcap driver is also installed as, by default, Wireshark installer installs only Npcap driver.
